Michelle Davis, BA Theatre & Dance, is 
   
a Kripalu Certified Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level. She is also certified at both the 500 & 800 hour level through The SchoolYoga Institute.

She considers her style an eclectic blend of both modern and classical yoga creating a fun and inspiring approach to her teaching style. Michelle is honored to have been voted the "BEST of MONADNOCK" from 2006 to 2011.

Michelle loves teaching yoga because...Yoga helps people develop a deeper connection to their bodies while simultaneously creating wellness, health, and peace in the community.

Tuesday- Yoga Stretch, Relax & Rejuvenate 7-8pm
Gentle
This gentle yoga class incorporates yoga breathing practices, guided relaxation and imagery. Students will experience an overall sense of well being due to a reduction of stress and tension while practicing the techniques taught in class. This is an excellent class for everyone, especially those who are new to yoga, those who have limited mobility, high stress and tension, and/or chronic pain.

Creative Movement and Yoga Tuesday 3:30-4:30 - Begins November 1st
Children ages 7-11
In this class your child will experience freedom of movement through a variety of yoga games and creative movement exercises. This program will engage your child's creativity while ensuring they develop focus, balance, and strength.
 
Michelle has an uplifting spirit and a laugh that permeates the class. Her knowledge in a comfortable, non-judgmental manner seems to be the key for success. Michelle's teachings are a wonderful blend of breathing, posture and stretching. I very much look forward to the time I spend in yoga with Michelle's guidance and teaching. This class with Michelle truly sets my week on a great path.

This fun filled non competitive environment will support your child's creative exploration. The final class of the semester will be an informal showing for families and friends to see what the children have been practicing over the past 8 weeks.

Wednesday Yoga Morning 8:30-9:30am
all level
This early morning class is designed to gently wake the body preparing you for your day. You will be guided through a breathing practice (pranayama) which will prepare you for a well rounded yoga (asana) practice. The intention with the asana practice is more gentle in nature, however a variety of flow sequences will be explored through out the semester.

Wednesday- Kripalu 4:14-5:15pm
multi-level
In this class you will refine your practice on many levels. Emphasis on alignment, breath, awareness of sensation, and posture flow will be explored. This is a great class to deepen your yoga experience.

Wednesday-Yoga Flow 5:30-7pm
Intermediate
This class is designed for those who have practiced yoga for at least 6 months. This class is not designed for beginners...as the instructor will encourage the students to work hard. Each class will begin with a body focused centering and pranayama techniques. Michelle will guide you through a choreographed vinyasa sequence of sun salutations, warrior series, invigorating backbends, twists, and reflective forward bends. You will strengthen your muscles, increase your flexibility, and cultivate both wellness and peace of mind.

Saturday- Yoga Flow 10:30-11:45am
multi-level
This class is a great way to begin your weekend! Come strengthen your muscles, challenge yourself as you increase your flexibility, and develop better body awareness as you practice. The format is vinyasa based (linking movement with breath). You will be both invigorated and relaxed.
